This is our fifth festival and this year's Dockers & Demons Halloween festival theme is
The Coven.
It will focus on natural elements and traditional celebrations of Samhain.
Bringing back the original idea of connection to the planet and our natural resources, remembering our Celtic origins.
Upcycling and recycling should play a role in line with the natural world and the awareness of climate change.
The 4 elements are Earth, Air, Fire and Water. When they are all present they create the 5th element of magic.
Music, art, theatre, creativity, dance, drama, film, poetry and magic are key in this years events and competitions. Members of the public are encouraged to adopt an element and focus their costumes, parties and characters on a chosen element and Dockers and Demons are going to run lots of creative competitions for creative writing- best scary story, best costumed character, best dressed window display and much more. Join us from October 15 at the launch the Festival when our weird and wonderfully witchy characters go wild and walkabout in the area
